Hello everyone,

We are pleased to announce that OATC has now launched a new Moodle online training platform for our flight school.

This is the first time many of you will be using Moodle, and it is also a very innovative step in Portugal, as online learning platforms like this are still uncommon in national flight training organisations.

What is Moodle?

Moodle is an internationally used e-learning platform, widely adopted by universities, airline training departments, and professional training organisations.

At OATC, Moodle will allow us to:

  • Provide online knowledge quizzes and ATPL recency tests

  • Support student self-study outside of briefing rooms

  • Standardise theoretical evaluations and progress monitoring

  • In the future, expand into full course support, grading, and training records

This is an important step in the digital development of our training operation.

Accounts and Login

All Moodle accounts have been automatically created using the FlightLogger user database.

✅ Your Moodle email address is the same one used in FlightLogger.

First Login (Set your password)

For your first access, please use the Forgot password page:

  1. Open the link

  2. Enter your FlightLogger email address

  3. You will receive an email to create your Moodle password

  4. After setting the password, you can log in normally

Moodle Username (for reference)

Your Moodle username is based on your FlightLogger callsign:

  • Short callsigns remain the same (lowercase)
    Example: SIM → sim, DVH → dvh

  • Callsigns starting with TKI … were normalised into:

tki_ + surname (lowercase)

Examples:

  • TKI Loureiro → tki_loureiro

  • TKI MFonseca → tki_mfonseca

  • TKI Miguel Carvalho → tki_miguel_carvalho
